An early-years programme supporting communication, foundational learning, self-care, play, social development and independence.
The Early Learning & Development Programme provides a supportive learning environment for young children at the beginning of their educational journey.
Learning is introduced through age- and developmentally appropriate activities that encourage communication, early literacy, early numeracy, movement, play, creativity, self-care and social interaction.
The programme recognises the importance of early support for children with disabilities and developmental or learning differences. Activities are adapted to each learner’s abilities and are designed to encourage participation, confidence and gradual development of independence.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to work together with teachers and programme staff so that learning and developmental goals can be supported both at Able Foundation and at home.
