Suno Oommen

Suno Oommen is a Co-Founder of Able Foundation, an organisation committed to promoting disability inclusion, dyslexia awareness, accessible education, skills development and meaningful opportunities for children and young people with disabilities.

Suno is part of the leadership behind Able Foundation's vision of creating environments where people with disabilities are seen, heard, valued and given opportunities to fulfil their potential.

His work with Able Foundation is grounded in the belief that many of the barriers faced by people with disabilities come not only from disability itself, but also from stigma, misconceptions, limited opportunities and a lack of inclusive environments.

Through Able Foundation, Suno supports an approach that goes beyond providing assistance. The organisation seeks to change attitudes, strengthen families and communities, create opportunities, and promote meaningful participation in society.

Under this vision, Able Foundation's work brings together education, awareness, skills development, sports, community engagement and partnerships to help children and young people with disabilities discover their strengths, develop confidence, build practical skills and participate more fully in their communities.

Suno believes that inclusion begins by changing the question from what a person with a disability can do to what opportunities can be created for them to succeed.

As Co-Founder, he continues to contribute to Able Foundation's commitment to building bridges between ability and opportunity and to creating a future where disability does not limit a person's aspirations or access to opportunity.
