Inclusive Education Programme

A learner-centred programme providing accessible, differentiated and practical learning opportunities for children and young people with disabilities and learning differences.

Able Foundation’s Inclusive Education Programme supports children and young people with disabilities and learning differences through an accessible, learner-centred approach to education.

The programme recognises that learners develop at different rates and may require different approaches, resources and levels of support. Learning therefore combines foundational academic skills with practical, functional, creative and developmental activities.

The programme supports learning in areas such as literacy, numeracy, communication, life skills, creative activities, practical skills and physical activities. Learning activities are adapted according to the learner’s abilities, interests, developmental stage and individual support needs.

Rather than simply reproducing a mainstream classroom model, Able Foundation focuses on meaningful learning that helps learners participate, communicate, develop independence and build confidence.
